Microsoft 64GB Zune HD

Despite the promise of launching the 64GB version of its Zune HD personal multimedia player on Monday, April 12th, Microsoft is already selling the device. Its capacity lets users store about 20 hours of 720p HD video, or 6,400 songs at 320Kbps. The price compares favorably to an iPod touch of the same capacity, which costs $400.
At the same time, Microsoft dropped the prices of the other models, with the 32GB version now costing $270 while the 16GB model will cost $200. All can be had in one of seven colors, or users can purchase one of the special engravings for an extra $15.a

Each ships alongside firmware 4.5, which adds more codecs support, including DivX, access to Microsoft's Marketplace apps and music store via the AV dock connection and Smart DJ. Smart DJ lets users select an artist, album or song and hear a playlist of similar songs or genres.
